Dr. NNeka Allen-Harrison is an Oakland-born educator, former family counselor, and national speaker with a lifelong passion for empowering families to thrive both at home and in the workplace. With a foundation in social services and counseling, Dr. NNeka brings over two decades of experience helping parents, caregivers, and community leaders create more intentional and values-driven lives.
As CEO of Summit Learning Institute and co-founder of LIFTT Inc., a STEM education nonprofit, Dr. NNeka has led coaching and consulting initiatives across schools, parent groups, and community-based organizations. Her expertise spans authentic leadership, family-school-community partnerships, distance education, and microschooling, making her uniquely positioned to guide parents seeking balance and fulfillment in today’s fast-paced world.
Grounded in empowerment learning theory and liberatory pedagogy, Dr. NNeka's work bridges the gap between personal growth and collective liberation. She has taught and provided doctoral supervision at Mills College (now Mills at Northeastern University), mentored educational leaders, and authored multiple publications on education, equity, and leadership.
